DJ Shimza (AKA Ashley Raphala) born in Tembisa, is a respected house DJ and presenter on YFM. He has taken part in many DJ competitions nationwide, and plays in gigs across the country. He has played alongside other faves such as Black Coffee, Culoe de Song,Euphonik and DJ Fresh.
Having released two CDs, The Next Big Thing and SA House Charts made his music famous in clubs across the country. He has also been featured on Soul Candi’s 10th Anniversary CD
